Crossbanded overall and inlaid with boxwood and ebony lines, the top and front inlaid with scrolling foliage and flowers intersperced with birds, the rounded rectangular top with a central oval panel above two short and three long graduated drawers, the sides each with an arched panel inlaid with a bird on a flower-filled urn, on later bracket feet, one drawer inscribed in ink '10,549', restorations and some replacements to the marquetry
