The later everted breakfront siena marble top above a plain frieze with a central brass trellis-panelled door enclosing two adjustable shelves, flanked on each side by a yellow pleated-silk panelled door with a pair of Egyptian herms enclosing four graduated cedar-lined drawers, on a moulded plinth base, the locks stamped 'HORN PATENT', altered, incorporating some later elements
