Feather-banded overall, the moulded rectangular quarter-veneered top above a frieze drawer and shaped apron flanked by a drawer to each side, on later cabriole legs and pad feet, restorations, one back leg with a repaired break , the underside with label indistinctly inscribed 'Muriel Countess De La Warr'

Provenance
Muriel, Countess de la Warr (d. 1930), wife of the 8th Earl De La Warr (1869-1915) and daughter of 1st Earl Brassey (1836-1918).
