Crossbanded overall and feather-banded to the front, the rectangular top with raised moulded rim above a hinged slope, enclosing a fitted interior with six small drawers, one with a secret drawer and a hinged flap enclosing three further small drawers, one for coins, above three long graduated drawers, on later bracket feet, with later backboards, restorations, the top probably originally with a removable superstructure of drawers
