The tablet toprail with central oval depicting fruit and with drapery swags, above a horizontal pierced trellis splat, flanked by arms with baluster supports, above a caned seat depicting grapes and ribbons, on ring-turned tapering legs capped with acanthus leaves, on toupie feet, the underside inscribed in white paint '315/215' and the reverse with printed label 'PATTERN 23', restorations, back-right leg later, two legs with repairs, redecorated

The scrolled toprail, above three spheres and a pierced trellis tablet splat and further spheres between semi-circular bands, above a caned seat, on ring-turned and tapering legs, inscribed in black pen '303/6279', restorations, the back seat-rail replaced, previously with brackets to front legs (3)

The Parker Knoll records state that the first two chairs were in stock prior to 1911 and each valued at 10/-, while the third chair was acquired on 11 March 1932.
