An Amphora Art Nouveau pottery centrepiece
modelled as a mermaid reclining on the crest of a wave, leaning forward to catch the tail of a large fish, another mermaid emerging from the waves, glazed in shades of brown and yellow, impressed marks (restoration) -- 43cm. high; and a German pottery bowl, of footed oval section, cast in relief with maiden perched at one side, within clusters of leaves and berries, under gilt and brown glaze, impressed marks (restoration) -- 41cm. diam.
