An interesting group:-
a part from a late 18th/early 19th century silver travelling canteen, consisting of, an octagonal silver handle, (threaded at one end) containing an Archimedian screw with fits into the handle and a cylindrical nutmeg grater, in sleeve;
a Fox type bronze, ram's head corkscrew, unmarked, (later sheath and repaired worm);
an 18th century bronze finger ring corkscrew with seal, (repaired worm, no sheath);
a gold mounted picnic corkscrew, (no sheath);
a steel key ring pocket corkscrew; a 20th century nickel-plated key ring corkscrew, (no sheath);
a steel finger ring corkscrew with baluster shank, some pitting;
and a miniature combination penknife with silver scales, Birmingham, 1889.
