A fine English or Irish Copley type, late 18th century silver folding bow corkscrew
with raised lozenge on the handle, engraved in script "TB", diagonal fluted sides, wire helix, slight lateral movement on the hinge, otherwise in good condition but unmarked. For a similar example showing an almost identical corkscrew, see Bertrand Giullan, fig. 155a, (right) attributed to Singleton circa 1770.
