A LURISTAN BRONZE FINIAL

Finely modelled in the form of a janus-headed humanoid tube figure with bulbous nose and grimacing features, flanked by rampant lions wearing brimmed caps, all conjoined at midriff by broad girdle, 4¼ in. (10.8 cm.) high; another finial in the form of two conjoined facing rampant lions with gaping jaws, 3¼ in (8.2 cm.) high; and a pendant in the form of the foreparts of two horses back to back with central suspension loop, 2.3/8 in (6 cm.) high, both 1000-800 B.C.
