The later rectangular plate within foliate-carved frame surmounted by a panel depicting putti, with marbleized back; the console with serpentine liver marble top above a pierced floral-carved frieze on similarly-carved legs joined by a flower basket, regilt, with a paper label painted: LE BRUN CADRES ANCIENS ET MODERNS DEPUIS 1847/SCULPTURE DORURE 155, FAUB. SAINT-HONOR PARIS6 61 14-66 NO 5286, the trumeau 18th Century, possibly reduced in height and with associated painted panel
