While the matrise of this little known menuisier is not recorded, an early Louis XV fauteuil by Longe was sold at Drouot, Paris, 12 October 1988 (see P. Kjellberg, Le Mobilier Franais du XVIIIeme Sicle, Paris, 1989, P. 535).
