A Victorian gilt bronze and brass cased desk set, third quarter 19th century
Comprising: a drum inkwell mounted with agate bosses and chased with floral scrolls overall, on a square section base with cherub figures to the angles and with friezes of cavorting amorini; a taperstick with seal stamp; a pen rack; a set of ornamental scales; a hand paperweight; a floral cast candlestick; and two other ornaments on a nautical theme; mounted in a velvet lined box
