An Anglo-Indian rosewood and ivory inlaid writing slope, 19th century
On a later associated stand, decorated with meandering floral borders and chequer lines, the hinged slope centred with flowering branches enclosing a fitted interior of short drawers and pigeon holes, the stand with baluster legs joined by a concave sided undertier, on brass caps and castors, fitted with a later Bramah lock
23½in. (59cm.) wide, 32½in. (82.5cm.) high, 17in. (43cm.) deep
