Shown with jewelled head-dress inscribed SOLAMITIDE and hair about her shoulders, on a waisted white marble socle

Lot Essay
A similar bust, one of a pair by Pietro Bazzanti and Figlio, was sold at Christie's King Street, 15th May 1997, lot 440. The head-dress of one also inscribed Solamitide.
