A famille rose two-sectioned alter stand
of waisted form with pierced foliate handles and stepped base, painted and gilt with bats in flight amongst flowers and scrolling lotus flowers and leaves, the upper section modelled as a lotus pod -- 8¼in. (21cm.) high, underglaze blue Qianlong seal mark and late in the period; and a baluster vase with everted rim and foliate handles, decorated in coloured enamels with scrolling lotus flowers and stiff leaves -- 6½in. (16.5cm.) high, underglaze blue Qianlong seal mark and of the period, (both damaged.)
