Three unmounted narrative cameos in agate
One carved in the white layer with Mucius Scaevola holding his hand in the flames of a brazier witnessed by four other figures, grey ground, 3cm. wide; one carved in the white layer with a sleeping nymph attended by four satyrs, pale greyish brown ground, 3.2cm. wide, and a bacchanalian revel in sardonyx depicting a seated female before a statue to divinity, flanked by five figures including satyrs and bacchantes, raised border, 3.5cm. long, all cameos 16th Century (3)
