woodcut, 1960, on orange-tan carbon-copy paper, a fine impression of this extremely rare print, signed in pencil, dated and titled 'Mellingen', from one of only three proofs, (of which two on this paper and one on yellow Kozo paper), with margins, a very small loss at the extreme upper sheet corners, a small waterstain at the right sheet edge, the upper sheet edge very slightly unevenly cut, backed with tissue-thin Japan, otherwise generally in good condition
L. 4.7/8 x 6.3/8in. (122 x 161mm.), S. 8½ x 10¾in. (215 x 272mm.).
