woodcut, 1919, on soft wove paper, a very good impression, signed in pencil, inscribed 'handselbstdruck', a very rare handprinted proof aside from the numbered edition of 30 published in the portfolio Neun Holzschnitte (there was a further edition published in the journal Menschen), with margins, some pale, barely visible foxing in the margins, some extremely pale discoloration, laid at the upper reverse sheet corners, otherwise generally in very good condition
