The engine-turned drum-shaped case surmounted by a displayed eagle with coronet, on dolphin supports to square section plinths with relief mounts of figures with Cupid to three sides, on platform with anthemion mount and gallery cast in low relief with stylised foliate designs, on stepped alabaster-veneered plinth with paw feet, the white enamel Roman chapter ring (hairline crack, small chip) with engine-turned centre, spade hands, the triple barrel movement with anchor escapement and silk suspension, with hour strike on one bell and quarter strike on another, with pull trip repeat; the pendulum modelled as a couple in a sailboat
