Gelatin silver print. 1960s. Signed and dated in pencil on the mount; inscribed a gift from Imogen 1967 Jos Ramn Lerma in pencil and Green Street label with facsimile signature and typed title, date affixed to the reverse of the mount.

Lot Essay

The work offered here and in the following two lots were either gifts from the photographer or purchased directly from Cunningham by her friend and neighbor in San Francisco, Jos Ramn Lerma. The two met in the 1960s and remained close friends for the remainder of Cunningham's life.
