Prospective bidders are advised that Footballer has been requested for inclusion in the upcoming exhibition El Lissitzky: Beyond the Abstract Cabinet, curated by Dr. Tupitsyn for the Sprengel Museum, Hanover from 17 January - 4 April, 1999. It has already been included in the exhibition catalogue to be published by Schirmer/Mosel. Christie's is prepared to assist in the arrangements of the loan.
