拍品專文

It was the year 1924, just before Tardieu took up the position as the director of the L'Ecole des Beaux-Arts d'Hanoi; he embarked upon a voyage to Saigon and Hanoi. While passing through Hue, the ancient capital of Vietnam, Tardieu painted on panel wood which he would call 'Pochades', of his most immediate impression of Vietnam.
