The gently curving watered steel blade with upper spine plain save for the maker's stamp, an applied scrolling repoussé silver panel above, the bone-faced hilt with upper cusped terminal, the medial silver band with scrolling floral designs, the wooden scabbard covered with repoussé silver worked with extensive rococo floral designs flanking a central plainer panel with central bouquet, a band of applied lozenge, rope-motif and beading above, marked on spine
