The octagonal section barrel of watered steel retained by two pierced silver bands with repoussé scrolling designs, silver damascened scrolling motifs at the muzzle and breech, the figured walnut fullstock extending into a pentagonal section widening butt, inset with variously shaped ivory panels, further decorated with inset khatamkar roundels forming lozenge, triangular and hexagonal rosette designs extending over the entire length of the stock, the butt also with green stained ivory bands and pronounced piqué work, the lock part silver inlaid and part silver covered engraved with leafy motifs and meandering vine, applied wadded leather pad protecting the lock tail, steel ramrod with engraved spirals
