TWO KUTAHYA POTTERY CUPS AND SAUCERS
OTTOMAN TURKEY, 18TH CENTURY
The cups forming a pair, each of rounded form with short foot, the exterior with a band of small drop-motifs outlined in green and yellow and filled with red dotted motifs, divided by larger paired triangular similar panels, the interior with a small central floral spray and leafy narrow border stripe, one of the saucers with identical decoration, obviously made for one of the cups, the other with a slightly simplified form of the same decoration, minute rim chip on second saucer
Cups 3in. (7.8cm.) diam.; saucers 4¾in. (12cm.) and 4½in. (11.5cm.) diam. (4)
