SELJUK PERSIA, 12TH/13TH CENTURY
Comprising a pair of bevelled bracelets with ram's head terminals, the sides engraved and nielloed with a benedictory naskh inscription flanking a rectangular central boss, the other with similar bevelled edges decorated with naskh niello benedictory inscription bands on a pounced ground, interrupted by circular silver-gilt engraved discs with palmettes and a square inscription silver-gilt panel, the underside with opening hinge flanked by square engraved silver-gilt palmette panels, areas of encrustation and rubbing
