Charles Stanley, of Charleville, co. Wicklow (1754-1802) was created Baron Monck of Ballytrammon of co. Wexford in 1797 and created Viscount Monck of Ballytrammon in 1801. He married his cousin, Anne (d. 1823) (who married secondly Sir John Craven Carden, 1st Bt. of Templemore), daughter of Henry Quin, M.D. and was succeeded by his eldest son, Henry Stanley.
