The shaded tomato-red field with a counterposed design of bold split palmettes linked by lozenge flowerheads and issuing tendrils with palmettes and serrated leaves, in a two-tone blue reciprocal trefoil border with inner ivory floral meander stripe between minor golden yellow geometric motif stripes, outer ivory lozenge-motif stripe, braided warps at each end, a few areas of slight wear, replaced selvages, very occasional repiling
