Provenance
The Auricon camera was bought new in 1959 for Anglia Telvision Ltd and was used in the production of some of their film features.The camera was coverted shortly after purchase to accomodate a zoom lens thus requiring the removal of the turret lens mount. It was used for about six years until it was bought by the vendor who has used it mainly for interviews
