With certificate 10023045 dated 10/1/98 from the Gemological Institute of America stating that the diamond is D colour, internally flawless clarity; and certificate 9805100 dated 3/6/98 from the Gbelin Gemmological Laboratory stating that the diamond is D colour, internally flawless clarity; accompanied by an appendix stating that the diamond possesses a purity of colour and an exceptional degree of transparency which are particular to the finest of type IIa natural diamonds. Diamonds of this type and quality are very rare and will most certainly evoke references to the historic term of "Golconda".
