The present bed is similar to one designed for a bedroom suite, realised by Maurice Dufrêne for the Pavillon de La Maîtrise for the 1925 Exposition des Arts Décoratifs, Industriels et Modernes and illustrated in Art et Décoration, July 1925, p. 24, and Victor Arwas, Art Déco, New York, 1980, p. 37.
