Each upholstered with crimson-ground tapestry, the backs depicting a couple in pastoral landscape, the seats grazing goats and sheep, the shield-shaped back with ribbon-and-thread, beaded and leaf-carved frame, centred by musical trophies and pastoral motifs, and flanked to each side by a fluted column, the scrolled acanthus-cast arms with padded rests, with guilloche-carved apron and on tapering fluted legs
