The rectangular top inset with a tan-coloured gilt-tooled leather writing surface, above three frieze drawers, the reverse with three apparent drawers, with a leather-lined pull-out slide to each side above a Bacchic mask, flanked by an espangnolette mount of a girl wearing a feather head-dress to each corner, on square shaped tapering legs, on acanthus and claw-cast sabots, the underside with ébénistes marque au fer RINCK/115 Frg ST ANTOINE/PARIS and with a trade association marque au fer roundel CHAMBRE SYND DE L'AMEUBLEMENT/GROUPE DES EBENISTES D'ART 20 PARIS
