Each with a rectangular breakfront bianco e nero antico marble top with rounded corners, above the front with geometrically-inlaid frieze and sides, centred by a panelled door inlaid with a design of scrolling foliage, one cabinet in première partie, the other in contre partie, and centred by a bronze plaque cast in high relief with a seated young girl, within an ormolu frame cast with masks and putti supporting flower chains, the interior with a pair of adjustable shelves, flanked to each side by an acanthus-cast fluted column headed by a bust of a young child, on breakfront block base
