The Marriage of the Virgin

This picture appears to be by the same hand as the Visitation attributed to Pellegrino Tibaldi in the Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam (Inv. SK-A-3955; see J. Winkelman, Pittura bolognese del '500, Bologna, 1986, II, p. 540, illustrated). In particular, the soft quality of the facial features and drapery, both accentuated with highlights is comparable to the picture in the Rijksmuseum.
