A Longton Hall white model of a Heron
Circa 1750
Modelled with its head turned back to preen the feathers of its raised right wing, perched astride a shaped oval rockwork base applied with flowers and foliage (chipping to two leaves and a flower, small chip to reverse of wing and upper part of tail, minute chipping to extremities)
