A set of four Bow figures emblematic of the Seasons
Circa 1760, Spring and Winter with blue dagger marks, Summer with red anchor and dagger marks
Each modelled seated, on pierced scroll-moulded bases applied with flowers and foliage and enriched in colours and gilding, Spring represented as a young girl with a basket of flowers and a beehive at her side, Summer as a woman with a wheatsheaf at her side and a scythe on her lap, Autumn as a toper on a barrel squeezing grapes into a goblet and Winter as a hooded seated man warming his hands at a brazier (chips and restoration)
