A Worcester flared cylindrical mug
Circa 1758
With ribbed loop handle, painted in a vibrant famille rose palette with an elegant Oriental gentleman holding a parasol, flanked by an attendant child holding a basket of fruit and a woman seated on a table beneath willow trees and with rockwork, grasses and a bird in flight towards the handle, a green enamelled leaf disguising a firing crack to the rim above the handle
