Circa 1752-54
Of small size, the moulded loop handle with scroll thumbrest, each side painted with a crane beside a fence and flowering shrubs issuing from rockwork, within crisply-moulded flower and foliage cartouches, the interior with a flowering branch within a green diaper and flowerhead border, on an oval foot moulded with drapery swags (minute rim chip)
