Circa 1754, incised to base and footrim, painter's mark X in brown to base
Painted in the famille rose palette with an Oriental holding a fan and with a flower flanked by plants and grasses beside a pine tree, the spout and cover with precious objects (restoration to tip of spout, rim of cover, the finial a restored replacement)
