A Worcester blue-ground oviform vase
Circa 1770, blue square seal mark
Painted in the Kakiemon palette with the Jabberwocky pattern of a dragon and birds among flowering trees and shrubs within richly gilt trellis-panelled scroll cartouches, the spreading neck with two gilt quatrefoil cartouches with flowers (slight wear to gilding around base, minute wear to gilt cartouches)
