A Chamberlain's Worcester pale-orange-ground honey-pot and cover
Circa 1800
Modelled as a circular domed bee-skep on a fixed stand, with alternating pale-orange and white gilt-edged vertical panels with pendant gilt foliage, the lower part and stand moulded with five bees around the arched entrance, pierced gilt ring-finial and gilt rims (very slight wear to gilding of rims and handle, very slight retouching to gilding of finial)
