                                            Two Copeland & Garrett plates probably painted by Daniel Lucas Junior with Old Testament scenes
Circa 1840, green printed circular marks, impressed F to each, indistinct remains of inscriptions
The first painted with THE DEAD SEA Jericho and the Mouth of the Jordan named on the reverse, followed by an indistinct one-line inscription, the second with Mount Ararat "And the Ark rested on the Mountains of Ararat" Gen VII. IV, each respectively within a claret and a blue border richly gilt with honeycomb ornament divided by four scroll-moulded scale-pattern escutcheons, gilt rims and footrims (the first with some minute rubbing to gilding and to well at 9 o'clock)
