A Sevres cup, cover and trembleuse stand
Circa 1764, the cup incised m(?)c, the stand cc
Each with alternately iron-red and brown-ground medallions at the border gilt with flowerheads and diaper ornament, and issuing palm fronds and flower-sprays, the cup of tapering form with an entwined handle, the shallow domed cover with white and gilt carnation finial and gilt line rim, the cup and stand with gilt dentil rims (chip to leaf of flower finial, chip to underside of rim of cover appears to date from time of manufacture)
