Circa 1820, red stencilled Darte Palais Royale No. 21 marks
The centres painted with views, named in gilt script on the reverses, edged by a broad gilt band, the borders variously gilt with flowers, foliage, anthemion, pendant husks and scrolls between gilt line rims, comprising:
Notredame.
hotel des Invalides. (star crack to centre of underside)
Le palais de la legion d'honneur. (restored rim chip at 6.30 o'clock)
Le palais de justice. (inscription scratched, restoration and damage to border at 4 o'clock)
Cimetire du pre lachaise. (slight rubbing to enamels around well)
and another indistinctly inscribed Mnagerie...Roi with a colonnaded building with two pavilions (restored rim chip at 8 o'clock, star crack to underside of border at 12 o'clock, the inscription almost entirely removed, slight rubbing to well)
