A Meissen gold-ground topographical tea and coffee-service
Circa 1815, blue crossed swords marks, some with blue crossed swords and I and various Pressnummern and incised marks
Each piece painted with named views within richly gilt cisel rectangular cartouches flanked by trailing cisel flowers, the spouts and loop handles with stylised moulded anthemion, comprising:

A slender oviform coffee-pot and cover with Dresden von Leubnitz and Dresden ber dem Mordgrunde
A squat oviform teapot and cover with Dresden vom Ziegengrunde and Dresden vom Spitzhause
A slender oviform hot-water jug with Neustadt vom schwarzen Thore
An oviform sugar-bowl and cover with Dresden vom Loschwitz ber der Presse and Dresden vom der Zuckeisiedeizi (minute chip to top edge of one mask handle and minute wear to tip of finial)
Twelve flared cylindrical coffee-cups, each on a spreading circular foot with Der Borsberg, Dei Hhlein grossen zschand, Das Felsenthor auf dem Neurathen, Aussicht vom Lilienstein, Die Arnsteinhle, Rulhen an der Elbe, Pillnitz, Dresden (view of a park in the city), Das Kanapee, Von grossen Winterbeige, Die kleine Gans, Dresden (landscape)
Twelve gilt saucers, each with a cisel garland
An oval two-handled tray with Dresden within an octagonal rectangular cartouche (an extensive view of the town)

Seven saucers bear a green paper label inscribed in ink 19..6-, perhaps an original factory price label.
