A Meissen (Marcolini) figure of a shepherdess Circa 1790-1800, blue crossed swords, star and line mark
In a grey hat and striped, patterned and coloured clothes, holding a bird-cage with a bird on her right shoulder, a letter in her left hand, standing before a recumbent sheep on a circular mound base applied with foliage and edged with moulded gilt key-pattern (left little finger lacking, minute chipping to extremities, slight flaking to gilding of base)
