A Meissen group of billing doves Circa 1745, blue crossed swords mark and painter's M. in sepia
Modelled by J.J. Kndler, with brown breasts, grey necks and backs, black and dark-brown heads and crests, their wings with bands of dark-brown, brown, black and blue, the tips of their tails in black with striped brown feet and black claws on an oval mound base splashed in green (one beak restored)
