Oblong and on stepped moulded foot with hinged domed cover, chased and engraved beneath the rim with a band of shells, scrolls, foliage, masks, diaper-work, serpents and birds, on a matted ground, engraved with a coat-of-arms within a scroll and bird cartouche, one marked under base and in cover
