There are a number of published examples of chrysanthemum-shaped dishes produced in the Yongzheng reign enamelled in a variety of colours ranging from yellow, brown to deep blue; for twelve examples in several shade of colours from the Palace Museum Collection, Beijing, see Kangxi Yongzheng Qianlong, p. 136, no. 145. It is, however, unusual to find a lavender-purple enamel rather than the more common aubergine colour, both owing their colour to the varying presence of manganese oxide.

A Yongzheng-marked green enamel chrysanthemum dish from the Baur Collection is illustrated in Seiji Taoci Quanqi, no. 288, where it is compared with a coral-red Qianlong marked version also from the same collection.
